Project 25: Movie Poster

This is my movie poster for the movie Real Deal. It is a spoof of Real Steal . Tristan plays Jones, a small little guy who is not meant for fighting. CJ is his new trainer and Tristan becomes one of the best fighters out there.

Project 24: Photoshop T-Shirt

This shirt was made on Adobe Photoshop CS5. The T-shirt template was downloaded from the internet. This is a T-shirt for the new Apple software iCloud.

Project 23: Photoshop Magazine Cover

I made this magazine cover using Photoshop CS5. The magazine is Sports Illustrated and the main story that I used LSU being number 1 in the NCAA Football and beating Alabama(even though I am an Alabama fan). The cover is an LSU player running with the ball. The stories are original, but the events the stories talk about actually happened or are going to happen.

Project 22: Google SketchUp House

This is my Google SketchUp house. The setting is in a junk yard. There are crushed cars on the right and garbage in the back. The occupant sleeps in the box and the outside is his living room and kitchen. He has a guard dog to protect him at night and also a grill to cook on.

Project 21: Google Sketchup Living Room

This is my living room that I made using Google SketchUp. It is a simple common room with toys for the kid and a babysitter. It features hardwood floors covered by a carpet and semi-matching furniture. For this project I could have added decorations and photos to make this room nicer.

Project 20: Google Sketchup Kitchen

This is my kitchen. A little tour: at the dinner table, my homies and I eat with swag. I have like 12  washers/dyrers. I have two refrigerators and two stoves that come complete with a maid.the big refrigerator is filled with OJ, CJ, has like 100 frozen tacos. For this project, I showed what putting objects in places can look like. I show a large kitchen setting.

Project 19: Google Sketchup Chair

For this I used Google Sketchup. I made Lazyboy couches that come with ottomans. I made one couch first and then copied it. I changed the color of each couch to make each unique. What would have been harder but better was to make regular chairs.

Project 15: Google Docs Word

This is Daniel and my own's song called the Guam Bomb Song!!! We just put together a song that doesn't really make sense. We used Google Docs to collaborate and write the song. Other things we could have done are use colors, styles, and other fonts.

Project 10: Vacation Expense Spreadsheet

For this, I used Microsoft Excel. I used graphs, custom colors, and I separated the different sections. I could have  added colors and added more functions.

Project 16: Google Docs Spreadsheet

This spreadsheet shows the hours of sleep and the hours of studying that certain people get per day. My partner, Daniel Creppel, and I used graphs and lists. We could have added more customization to make the spreadsheet more presentable.

Project 17: Google Docs Presentation

This is Daniel Creppel and my own's presentation on the beauty of Guam. We successfully showed the capabilities of google presentations but we didn't express each slide to its best. Animations and more customization could have been used.

Project 18: Google Docs Survey

Project 13: Grading Sheet

This my fake grading sheet for four students in the four main subjects: math, science, english, and history. I highlighted the different areas according to their topic. What I did was make a main chart that connects to the other four charts. The main chart displays the main grade for each student in each subject and the four other charts are for each individual subject.
I could have added a chart to show the students' grades better. Overall I did well, but of course, more time and effort would have made the spreadsheet look nicer.

Project 14: Google Sites

sites.google.com/site/projectit200/

This is my google site. I am using this site to appropriately express myself while using this as a tool to help myself. I have another blog page on the site, a homework scheduler, and other pages to put the things I like on.
In the future, I will continue to use this site to help me schedule my time.

Project 11: IF Formulas

This is excel while using the logical answer formula =IF. I made ten formulas, five math and five pictures. I did well on this because I showed how this should look well and I also mixed up some of the answers and responses. To do more, I could have showed the steps in writing the formulas. I also could have typed more complex questions.

Project 9: Excel Chart Style

I just made a chart in this video using excel. It was very easy . I entered the data, made the chart, and then made the chart and page look nicer using style tools. This was a very easy project and there is still much more I could've done. For example, I could've incorporated 3D art and styles.

Project 8: Word Style

This is my example of adding different styles to a MSWord document. I added a nice two color style to the graph. (The graph I made using the "convert text to chart" tool.) Also, I added highlights and different styles of writing to the titles. I also added a diagram. This was all simple. If I wanted to I could've made a real paper, but this was just a project to show the different ways you can make a word document more enjoyable or eye-catching.

Project 2: Mail Merge Letter

This is my sample on mail merge in a letter. I just took random topics to write since the assignment was based on mail merge. I used mail merge where ever a person's name was. I used the address block, greeting, and I inserted one or two name blocks. This was a simple assignment on learning the basics of how to use mail merge so it was fairly easy.

Project 6/7: AVI and YouTube in Word

This is an AVI video in word. Just a project on learning how to do this.
This is a Youtube video in word. The guy in the couch is Mac Miller. If you open the word document and double-click the video it will open up and play. I can add more videos but this is just a tutorial try to learn the basics of doing this.

Project 5: Custom Shortcuts

For this project I made two shortcuts for opening programs.

  1. Open Safari - F1 - I use Safari all the time so I thought I would make a shortcut key to open it without my mouse.
  2. Open My Computer - ctrl + alt + M - I download a lot of torrents and I also burn iso images to discs.
  3. Open BitTorrent - ctrl + alt + T - I constantly check my torrent downloads to make sure they are running good.
Shortcut keys can also be placed inside applications. I chose to use the shortcut keys for applications that I use often though.

Project 4: Ten Most Useful Key Shortcuts

There are many keyboard shortcuts but these ten are the most useful to me.

  1. StickyKeys {shift x5}- StickyKeys is useful to me because it enables me to type on my computer or use multiple keys at once with one hand. StickyKeys turns on the feature that allows the user to use any hold key (i.e. ctrl, alt, shift) and not have to hold it. Any of these keys can be pressed once to be turned on for one key or click and a double click will enable the key until turned off.
  2. Window Close {alt + f4}- This hotkey is a quick way to close windows when in a hurry or if you don't have a working mouse.
  3. Zoom In/Out {ctrl + +/-}- This key is helpful when looking at text that is too small, sentences that are longer than the page, or looking at pictures too big or too small.
  4. Task Manager {ctrl + alt + delete}- This key is great for when programs quit responding or when you need to shut down the computer. In the task manager you can also see your computers performance history and memory data.
  5. Undo {ctrl + z}- This hotkey is helpful for when you accidently make a mistake on typing or you accidently delete a file. The opposite of this key is the redo shortcut {ctrl + y}, but I rarely use this key.
  6. New Tab in Safari (may also work in other internet explorers) {ctrl + t}- I use the key for opening new tabs quickly so that I don't have to move my mouse all the way to the top of the screen.
  7. Copy {ctrl + c}- This makes transferring files and texts quick and easy.
  8. Paste {ctrl + v}- This makes putting files and texts in different places quick and easy.
  9. Rename {f2}- Sometimes I use this key for renaming files that I recently downloaded to easier find them.
  10. Sleep {ctrl + f5}- This key quickly puts the computer to sleep without closing the screen.

Project 3: Mail Merge Flyer

This is just a repeat of my previous flyer. Although, in this flyer I added an address block using the mail merge feature. I also could have included certain greetings to address certain people for each flyer.

Project 1: Flyer

In this flyer I did my best to utilize the features of Microsoft Office Word. I used a watermark, text boxes, 3D titles, and I added a fade around the edges of the photos. I could've spent more time adding more affects to the background and texts. This project could've been better with more effort.
